PRAYER FOR THE PRODIGAL

Why do we walk?

We stand in the gap and pray for our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, friends and other family members who have lost their way. In the parable, the father and lost son represent God and those who are lost, showing that as the prodigal son is precious to his father and his return is celebrated, so it is when a sinner repents and turns to God.

We walk from Elim Grace Church to Veteran's Memorial Park to demonstrate our love for the broken hearted.

We celebrate the return on the prodigal. There is no condemnation in Christ. We celebrate the love of Christ.
